Christina is a partner at City Legal, and has been practising law with the firm since 2014, after obtaining her Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2013. Her doctoral thesis was entitled “Criminal Liability in Animal Welfare A Comparative and Critical Analysis”. In 2014 she was admitted to the bar. Following this Christina also read for a Masters of Law specialising in Family with the University of London where she graduated in 2017.
In past years Christina was also involved in leading the student organization Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi as well as being involved in the publication of the law journal entitled “Id-Dritt”.
Christina’s main areas of practice are family law, civil law, citizenship, residence and immigration, debt collection, litigation as well as anti-money laundering regulation. She assists with various family law matters such as separation, divorce, care and custody issues as well as various civil law issues ranging from property law to damages and personal injury. Christina has also taken an active interest in the subject of financial crime and advises clients on matters of anti-money laundering regulation.
She has been a member of the Chamber of Advocates since 2013.
