Raisa joined City Legal as a legal trainee in 2014. She has been admitted to the bar in 2017 after graduating as a Doctor of Law from the University of Malta in 2016 and this after submitting her thesis entitled Equine Welfare in the Use of Animal and Animal-drawn Vehicles on the Road Regulations.
In the past, Raisa was a member of NGO Young Entrepreneurs and Leaders (YEL) which used to collaborate with student organisation Ghaqda Studenti tal-Ligi to organise court visits for law students. For two consecutive years, Raisa was also involved in the publication of the law journal entitled Id-Dritt.
In 2018, Raisa was one of the youngest lawyers to be appointed as an official curator and legal aid lawyer.
Presently, Raisa is an Associate at City Legal and her main areas of practice comprise criminal and general civil law, as well as litigation and dispute resolution.
